Our aim is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent-involving community-based group. We aim to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children below school age and over the age of 2 years. Our most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2017 rated us outstanding!
We work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. We offer your children:
- A specially tailored curriculum leading to approved learning outcomes.
- Individual care and attention made possible by a high ratio of adults to children.
- Fun and friendship with other children and adults.
- The support of a personal key worker who will provide regular feedback to parents through contact books.
- Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your own child’s progress.
- A well equipped outside play area.

Pre-School Fees & Funding
Fees are currently £15.50 for a morning session, £8.00 for an extended lunch/afternoon session. These fees are payable half termly in advance.
Funding is available for all eligible three and four year olds, direct from Kent Education Authority. This allocation will automatically be claimed on behalf of each eligible child for the sessions they attend Weavering Pre-school. Current funding level is 15 hours for all children, though some may be eligible for 30 hours depending on various criteria. Funding can be used on morning and lunch sessions with any hours above your funding allocation being billed as additional. Should you think you may be eligible for 30 hours funding please check via Child Care Choices Website. You will need to provide us with your 11 digit eligibility code should you fulfil the criteria for 30 hours which we will then need to verify on your behalf. You will need to ensure you apply in sufficient time to enable your code to be used, for September you will need to have applied by 31 August.
Weavering Preschool accepts childcare vouchers as payment for fees. Please speak to Lisa, the manager, for further details.
